Liz in L.A.

So we made it to L.A on Friday, Nov. 9th, only to find that we missed a big picketing rally at Fox Studios that morning! It ended around 11:30am, and we rolled into town around 1pm. Today, Saturday, we drove around to some studios, hoping to find some strikers on the march, but, alas, we discovered that the studios are closed on Saturday and so, with no one to strike against, there were no picketers. The good news for me is, that if the writers are still on strike on Monday, the official word from the WGA is that they will welcome anyone who wishes to picket with them…

  1. Liz:

Don’t wait till the journey’s end to fill us in! (laughing) Blog as you go. I’m not quite sure how that’s possible, but I’m enjoying your adventures vicariously, so I’ll stay tuned.

BTW, the Writers Guild of America East site includes a few updates.
